Delivery & Shipping Policy

BottlO´Briens  delivers Australia wide (excluding Northern Territory).

Free delivery services apply to local Cronulla, Woolooware, Burraneer, Gymea, Miranda and Caringbah areas on orders over $100. Next day delivery available for orders placed befor 11 am.

For all other postcodes, please refer to our current Shipping Policy. Delivery of goods can occur between 10am – 6pm Monday to Friday (normal business hours). Saturday & Sunday by prior appointment & may incur a delivery fee at the discretion of BottlO’Briens.

BottlO’Briens are committed to the delivery of your order within your prescribed time frame (considered fair & reasonable). Deliveries outside the local 2227-2230 postcode will be handled by Australia Post. Next day delivery is only available for orders placed by 11am and for postcode: 2227-2230 (excluding Bundeena and Maianbar).

BottlO’Briens reserves the right to refuse delivery if the recipient appears to be intoxicated or under the age of 18 and does not produce acceptable proof of age documentation.

An acceptable proof of age document means a current:

  1. driver’s or rider’s license or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country);
  2. Australian passport or a foreign passport issued by another country;
  3. NSW Photo Card (issued by Roads and Maritime Services NSW);
  4. proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age;
  5. Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post; or
  6. approved NSW digital driver license.

We are required by law to provide written instructions to delivery personnel as to the requirements for delivering the alcohol purchased.

Unattended Deliveries 

 You can request that your delivery is left on your doorstep if no-one is home. However, our carriers reserve the right to leave a card (instead of your order) even if you request an unattended delivery.

They may do so if:

  • There is no clear delivery instruction authorising them to leave the parcel in a safe place
  • Somebody is home but they cannot provide proof of age
  • The driver is concerned that minors are present in the vicinity of your premises

Unattended delivery is not available for:

  • Orders paid for by gift card
  • Same day delivery
  • Premises that do not receive daily roadside letter delivery from Australia POST
  • Guest customers (not registered)

SHIPPING POLICY

LOCAL DELIVERY 2227- 2230 POSTCODES:

Free delivery on orders over $100

$10 flat fee for all orders under $100

Next day delivery available for orders placed before 11am and will be delivered the following business day, before 6pm providing all products are in stock. If a product is not in stock, delivery may take 2-3 business days.

*Please note, in some instances we may be able to deliver same day, but we will notify you if this is the case.

ALL OTHER SYDNEY POSTCODES: 

$15 flat fee for all orders

Orders will be shipped with Australia Post, delivery may take 2-4 business days. Please note due to the COVID-19 crisis, delivery times may be longer than usual.

ALL REGIONAL NSW POSTCODES: 

$18 flat fee for all orders

Orders will be shipped with Australia Post, delivery may take 2-4 business days. Please note due to the COVID-19 crisis, delivery times may be longer than usual.

ALL OTHER AUSTRALIAN STATES (EX NT):
